The best part is that the Plan 9 operating system name was inspired by the
1959 cult classic movie "Plan 9 from Outer Space".  So, I get to follow in
the footsteps of naming OS tools after cult movie classics ;-)  In the same
vein, if we ever do a C++ port to Plan 9 (which is basically anathema to
many ardent followers), I suggest RHPP (after the Rocky Horror Picture Show
;-)

And SpinalTAP mascot can be Glenda (see
http://plan9.bell-labs.com/plan9/glenda.html) in a pose from the back with
the spine drawn in and a syringe in her hand...

BTW, I have one request from one of the researchers to add something like:

  #define drummers() Bail_Out("Explode!")

because we know that drummers always explode...
